International wires may be sent from the Credit Union. The cut off time is 10:30 a.m. for a wire to be sent on the day it is received. Cost is $40 per wire. To send a wire, call or come in to the Credit Union.

The Credit Union does not handle foreign currency. Foreign checks can be accepted. There is a fee associated with this service and foreign checks take six-to-eight weeks to process.

If you are traveling overseas, traveler’s checks are still an option; however some destinations may not accept them due to the increase in fraud specifically targeting check instruments. For some, Credit Union VISA® debit and credit cards may be a better option.
